Privacy policy
Daniel Najda Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”) runs danielnajda.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

The short version
- With your permission, the website uses analytics from Vercel, PostHog and Google to understand visits, and advertising cookies from Meta and Google to measure ads and reach previous visitors.
- We only get your details when you choose to contact us, or when you become a client.
- We use them to reply, quote and do the work. We never sell them or add you to a mailing list without asking.
Your cookie choices
Optional tracking is off until you choose. “Accept optional” allows analytics and advertising, and “Reject optional” leaves both off. Use “Manage choices” to choose analytics and advertising separately, then select “Save choices”. You can review or change your saved choices through “Cookie settings” on any page. We save your choice in this browser for up to six months. Changing it controls future tracking; it does not remove information already received by a provider. The enquiry form, phone and email links work with any choice.
What we collect
When you contact us
If you call, email or use the enquiry form, we receive the details you give us — usually your name, business name, phone number, email address and your message.
When you submit the enquiry form, the website sends your details and message to our business email address through Resend, our email delivery provider. We use your email address to reply to your enquiry.
When you become a client
After a confirmed website-package payment, Stripe sends the checkout email and payment details to our website. We use Resend to email your project access checklist. Stripe and Resend keep operational records under their own retention policies; our website does not keep a separate email delivery database. This is a project email, not a marketing subscription.
The project access checklist sends your email, domain, provider, public Google profile link, invitation statuses and optional notes to our business email through Resend. We use them to match your purchase, check invitations and organise your project. Do not submit passwords, login codes or private invitation links.
The checklist saves only your provider and invitation selections in this browser so you can return later. It does not save your email, domain or notes locally. Use Reset progress on the checklist to clear its saved selections. This storage supports the checklist and is separate from optional analytics cookies.
We collect what we need to do the work and get paid: contact and billing details, project information, and any content, logins or access you give us for your website, app or hosting. We only use access you provide for the work you’ve asked for.
When you visit the website
We use these services to measure how the website is used and to advertise:
- Vercel Web Analytics measures page views, referrals, device and browser types, and approximate location without analytics cookies. We still enable it only when you allow analytics tracking.
- PostHog analytics records the pages you view, where you came from, your device and browser type, your approximate location and when you send an enquiry or tap our phone number or email address. It doesn’t record your screen or what you type.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Analytics and Google Ads set cookies that tell them you visited and whether you got in touch, so we can measure our ads and show them to people who have visited before.
We don’t send these services your name, email address, phone number or message. Meta and Google may link your visit to an account you hold with them, under their own privacy policies. You can turn off personalised ads in your Meta ad preferences and Google My Ad Center, or block cookies in your browser; the website still works without them.
More about how these providers use information: Vercel Web Analytics privacy, Google’s partner-site data policy and Meta’s privacy policy.
If you use the light/dark switch, your choice is saved in your own browser so the site remembers it; it is never sent to us.
Like any website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Some parts of danielnajda.com are private applications that need a sign-in and are not offered to the public. This policy covers the public website and our client work.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare quotes
- To design, build, host and support the work you engage us for
- To send invoices and keep business records
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations
We won’t send you marketing unless you’ve agreed to it, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell or rent personal information. We only share it with:
- Service providers we use to run the business, such as website hosting (Vercel), payments (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), analytics (Vercel, PostHog and Google), advertising (Meta and Google), email and accounting — only as needed for them to provide their service
- Our professional advisers, such as an accountant
- Anyone we’re required to by law
Storage, security and overseas providers
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including secure accounts and limiting who can see it. Some of our providers, including our website host, store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States. We use reputable providers with appropriate security.
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires (for example, tax records), then delete or de-identify it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we don’t need to keep it. Contact us using the details below and we’ll respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.
